Some Rules...
The main aim of this is to raise as much money for charity as possible. I've created a few rules for the competition to make it understandable and as fair as possible but please bear in mind that above all else this is a fun competition and the real winner will be The Rainbow Trust.

What if I don't make it?
I am old(ish) and I might not make it round. I may even not make it to the start line if I get a serious injury, illness or other unforeseen circumstances occur. If this is the case then the following will happen.
How to Enter
- For each £5 of sponsorship you pledge me you will get 1 chance to guess my official finishing (timed by electronic chip). £5 is one entry, £10 two entries, £15 three entries and so on.
- Sponsor me by clicking through one of the many SPONSOR ME links on this site or from a Facebook link. After giving your donation details you will have the chance to leave a message. At this point please enter your guess(es) in hours, minutes & seconds (hh:mm:ss)
- You must also choose to leave your email details for me so that I can contact you should you win.
- I will place all new entries on the ENTRIES SO FAR log and update daily.
- If the time you guess had already been taken I will contact you to choose an alternative
- If you do not care what time you select, or cannot decide, just place the word random in the message box and I'll select you a random time and place it on the log.
How to win
- The person who chooses my finishing time correctly will win the 1st prize.
- If no one chooses correctly then the person who is nearest will win.
- If there are two entries equidistant from the correct time the one that is BELOW will win (this is because they believed in me that little bit more !!)
- If there are multiple prizes the 2nd prize will be won by the second nearest guess, the 3rd by the third nearest etc.
- I will email the winners and post details of them on this website from 15th April.
What if I don't make it?
I am old(ish) and I might not make it round. I may even not make it to the start line if I get a serious injury, illness or other unforeseen circumstances occur. If this is the case then the following will happen.
- Your charitable donations will not be returned. The money you pledge is not dependent on completion and is not a competition entry fee, you are just being a kind human being.
- I will contact the businesses who are donating the prizes. They will have the option of whether the prizes are still distributed or not.
- For prizes that are available for distribution I will hold a raffle draw on 15th April 2013. Each entry will have one ticket and I will award the prizes in the order that tickets are drawn.
